The sundial is installed on the Volkushek sluice gate. 

It is the oldest operating sundial in the Grodno region. A legend has it that the sundial was installed at the beginning of 19th century by Ignatiy Prondzinskiy (he was responsible for the construction of the Augustow Canal for a while) in honor of his beloved one.
