In the agro-town of Svisloch, the ritual of the first furrow was held

On the sunny and spring-like warm day, the first furrow ceremony took place in the agroforod Svisloch.

At exactly 12.00 a colorful procession with songs, appeals and a cheerful whistle headed for the field.

The priest addressed the people, blessed and sanctified the grain. Then they fed the plowman with fresh bread, so that nothing would prevent him from making good grooves with good thoughts. The first consecrated grain in the fresh furrows was filled with the chairman of the APC and the agronomist.

In front of all those who gathered to look at the unusual rite and take care of a good harvest the people's theater of the folk song “Mother's Song” of the Zhytomlyansk House of Folklore made a performance.
