Last weekend there was recorded the maximum number – 600 visa-free tourists visited Grodno and “Awgustow Canal” recreational park. That was the highest number of visits to the oblast centre and vicinity since the establishment of visa-free regime.

– the interest to visit Grodno and “Awgustow Canal” sights is growing. We suppose the trend keeps. We plan to increase the number of incoming tourists with help of advertising tours through Grodno and vicinity for the representatives of foreign tour operators and mass-media, – noted Tatyana Lidiayeva, deputy head of Sport and Tourism Department of Grodno Oblast Executive Committee.
