20 000th visa-free student greeted in Grodno
The lucky one was Aneta-Tereza Sobolevska from Warsaw. It was the first time she and her man and son visited Grodno region. They travel along Awgustow Canal and Grodno with more than 30 citizens of Poland
Student #20 000 was presented with books and leaflets, devoted to the history of Grodno and Awgustow Canal. They were given by the deputy head of Sport and Tourism department of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee, Tatsiana Lidiayeva.
– Belarus is popular among foreign tourists, especially among citizens of Lithuania, Poland, Latvia and Germany. There are a lot of events planned for summer season in Grodno and Awgustow Canal. Event tourism becomes more and more popular. We believe, that interest to the Neman vicinity among tourists won’t decrease by autumn, - marked Tatsiana Lidiayeva.
