Information for foreign citizens

1. Without a visa foreign citizens can come to Belarus to the Brest-Grodno visa-free territory for tourist purposes for up to fifteen days.

2. You can cross the state border of the Republic of Belarus at checkpoints:

a) Automobile checkpoints:

Brest (Terespol),

Bruzgi (Kuznica Bialostocka),

 Domachevo (Slawatycze),

Benyakoni (Salcininkai),

Peschatka (Polowce),

Privalka (Raigardas).

b) small border traffic checkpoint:

Pererov (Bialowieza),

Lesnaya (Rudawka),

Privalka (Szandubra);

c) railway border checkpoint:

Brest (Terespol)*,

Grodno (Kuznica Bialostocka)**.

d) airport border checkpoints:

Brest Airport border checkpoint,

Grodno Airport border checkpoint.

*The checkpoint Brest (Terespol) refers to the checkpoint at the railway station Brest-Vostochny in the central region, Brest.

** The railway checkpoint Grodno (Kuznica Bialostocka) refers to the checkpoint at the railway station Grodno, Grodno.

3. Visa-free territory Brest - Grodno includes the territories of the city of Brest, Brest District, Zhabinka District, Kamenets District, Pruzhany District in Brest region, the city of Grodno, Grodno District, Berestovitsa District, Volkovysk District, Voronovo District, Lida District, Svisloch District, Shchuchin District in Grodno Region.

4. In order to enter the visa-free territory a foreign visitor should possess a document of a standard form which is issued by Belarusian tourist agencies.

5. In order to obtain the document a foreign visitor has to:

- address a Belarusian travel agency which has the right to issue such documents;

- draw confirmation approving a foreign traveler’s right to enter Belarus visa-free and receiving booked tourist services.

6. Before entering Belarus a foreign visitor has to get a medical insurance policy for staying in Belarus.

7. Upon visa-free entry to the Republic of Belarus, at the checkpoint a foreign citizen must present:

- valid document for traveling abroad (passport);

- a document of a standard form, providing the right to visit (issued by a travel company);

- a medical insurance policy.
