THE VISA-FREE ORDER OF ENTRY AND EXIT OF FOREIGN CITIZENS FROM JANUARY 1, 2018 IS APPROVED
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 462 of December 26, 2017, the visa-free order of entry and exit of foreign citizens to the territory of the special tourist and recreational park "Awgustow Canal" and adjacent territories has been amended, which will enter into force on January 1, 2018.
In connection with the expiration on December 31, 2017 of the validity period of the visa-free entry and exit procedure for foreign citizens approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of August 23, 2016 No. 318, an amended visa-free entry and temporary stay of foreign citizens into the territory of a special tourist and recreational park "Awgustow Canal" and adjacent territories ("Augustow Canal" park).
The main changes in the visa-free order, effective from 01.01.2018 are:
- The maximum period of temporary stay of foreign citizens for tourist purposes in the territory of the special tourist and recreational park "Awgustow Canal" and adjacent territories has been increased to 10 days.
- A checkpoint at the railway station in Grodno and at Grodno airport is included in the list of checkpoints that carry out visa-free entry.
- The Grodno region fully included into the territory of the park "Awgustow Canal".
- It is established that the period of visa-free stay of foreign citizens is the term of the tourist tour purchased, with the possibility of extending for a maximum of 10 days.
- The forms of the documents, which are the basis for visa-free entry, were changed.
