Truly national holiday is deeply important for all people of our republic and bears in its content a symbolic unity of past and present.

On this day we congratulate all those who walked the front roads, defended our freedom and independence during the Great Patriotic War, who was an example of passionate dedication to the Motherland in the post-war period, with their military labor fortified the combat might of the Red Banner Belarusian Military District, who with valor and honor provides independence and sovereignty of modern Belarus.
