The Church of the Virgin Mary in Bolshaya Rogoznitsa was built in 1926 and is characterized by its simple, even somewhat austere appearance, which is achieved through the combination of rough stone used for the walls, simple shapes, and the absence of external decorative elements.

The first service in the church was held immediately after its completion in 1928. Later, an old organ from Vilnius was brought here, which is almost 200 years older than the church.
