The city park, which today bears the name of Gilibert. It was founded in the 1770s by the famous European scientist, physician, anatomist and botanist J.E.Gilibert. Medicinal herbs were grown on its territory, which were then used for making medicines in the Grodno Jesuit pharmacy.
