You can go rafting to the Neman River along its tributaries Molchadi or Shchara. The Molchadi waterway starts near the village of Belogurno. It takes about 17 hours to row to the Neman, maneuvering around turns, skirting islands, sometimes overcoming rifts. In addition to the river, there will also be two reservoirs – Novoelnyanskoe and Gezgalskoe, where there are hydroelectric power plants. You need to call the hydroelectric power station: if the floodgates are closed, the river is getting shallower. The silence is shallow throughout, a meter and a half, occasionally reaching two meters. Along the way, there are equipped areas for overnight and rest. The route along Shchara is longer, partly passing through Lipichanskaya Pushcha. But the main thing here is history, places of military glory: memorials and memorials, places of deployment of the Invincible partisan detachment.
