Awgustov Canal is the navigable canal, which links Wisla and Nieman and provides access to the Baltic Sea in Nortt and to the Black Sea in South. It is also a monument of hydrotechnical architecture.
The Belarusian part of Canal was fully renovated in 2004-2006. Awgustow Canal is the marvelous place for outside leisure, water tourism, hiking and cycling. Two motor ships cruise along the canal in summer. “Olga Solomova” ship routes from the pier at Levonaberezhaya str. to Awgustow Canal. Motor ship “Nieman” cruises along the Canal itself. Her route begins at Dombrovka gateway.
